ArchDaily & Strelka Award
ArchDaily and the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture, and Design are jointly announcing the establishment of an award to celebrate emerging architects and new ideas shaping contemporary cities.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Strelka's founding. Since its establishment, the institute has been a major force in the transformation of various cities in Russia. Through its extensive interdisciplinary educational activities, research, and public projects, Strelka has fostered a new urban culture, promoting freedom of thought and open exchange. As we collaborate on the inaugural ArchDaily & Strelka Award, we are seeking projects that can bring about positive change and address serious urban challenges. We invite emerging architects to submit their architectural projects, emphasizing sustainability, research-based participatory design, and innovative use of materials.
We are looking for projects built in the past five years in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, or Uzbekistan. We invite architects and architectural design firms that began their practice no more than 10 years ago. Each company is allowed to submit only one project for the competition.
