Concentrico and La Foret entale jointly call for urban interventions in the city of Rouen through temporary installations that evoke the natural heritage and forests of the French urban area.

La Foret entale is a biannual commemorative arts festival organized by the metropolitan area of Rouen in Normandy. The festival proposes the creation of 12 commemorative art pieces that will form a route around the central forest that surrounds the city. The reflection on urban areas and the enhancement of natural heritage are combined in this competition.

Concentrico is the International Festival of Architecture and Design in Logrono, open to all citizens and tourists, aimed at discovering and rediscovering the historic landmarks of the city center. The festival invites visitors to explore these spaces through installations that establish connections between indoor courtyards, hidden spaces, and squares, which often go unnoticed in everyday life.

The competition proposes the creation of a temporary structure in the Saint-Sever neighborhood. It will be part of a series of installations set up during the La Foret commemorative festival and will be the only work in the city.

Candidates are suggested to create a temporary installation in the public space "Place Saint-Server - Rue Saint Server (end of Marcel Dupre street)," with the first phase of the project completed in early 2019. This is a popular multicultural pedestrian space located at the intersection between the square of the same name, the church square, and the commercial street. Through mineral finishes, this public space becomes a link between different types and architectural periods of the 18th and 19th centuries, post-war reconstruction, and contemporary architecture.
