"International Center for Engineering and Applied Sciences" Design Competition

The European Union TUMO Convergence Center for Engineering and Applied Sciences is envisioned as a versatile campus that will bring academia and industry together, connecting local students, researchers, and technologists with each other and their global counterparts to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. The center will encompass a set of mutually reinforcing facilities with a total built-up area of 25,000 square meters. The project is located above the Hrazdan River Valley in Yerevan, Armenia, covering an area of 15,000 square meters. Initially budgeted at over 25 million euros, the project will establish an open platform and a vibrant community, integrating academic and training facilities, businesses, conference venues, as well as retail units such as cafes, restaurants, gyms, and daycare centers.

The initiative extends from the TUMO Creative Technologies Center, an innovative after-school learning center with nearly 15,000 teenagers participating weekly. It is situated next to the TUMO building, alongside leading tech companies, multinational corporations, and startups.
